Welcome to Los Alamitos Midget Team Page

The LAPW Midget Football team consists of 11-15 year olds with a weight range of 105-160 pounds (ages 11-14) and 105-140 pounds (age 15).   This is the highest level of competition within LAPW and the Orange Empire Conference.  Players at this level continue to learn more intricate levels of blocking, tackling & play execution.  At this level it is all about competition, teamwork, work ethic, the desire to hit and play at FULL-SPEED.  Players likely begin to learn about a balanced Offense and more intricate Defensive schemes.  The MIdget Division is the last stop before high school.  This division is made of LAPW athletes who desire the taste of high school football.  Midget National Championship is televised on ESPN from the Wide World of Sports Complex at Disney World in Orlando.
