Pop Warner "Little Scholars"

Pop Warner Little Scholars, INC. (PWLS) is the only national youth sports organization in America that requires its participants to perform adequately in the classroom before permitting them to play on the fields.  We believe that the standards that have been set give our kids a sense of responsibility and an appreciation for academics and athletics that will help them in their development life skills beyond the classroom and the football fields.

Proof of 'satisfactory' progress in school is a requirement for participating.  A 2.0/70% is the minimum GPA acceptable.  In certain cases a written statement from a participants school administrator shall be deemed 'final'.  As a league, we are required to maintain this standard to be eligible to participate in championships and bowl games.
